Town skipper Gareth McAuley won his 12th Northern Ireland cap as his side lost 2-0 to Slovenia in a World Cup qualifier in Maribor. McAuley played the full 90 minutes at right-back.

Summer Town target Milivoje Novakovic of FC KÃƒÂ¶ln scored the first of two Slovenian goals in the final 10 minutes.
