Bruce Stays With Ireland - Ipswich Town News
Defender Alex Bruce has remained with the Republic of Ireland full squad despite picking up an abductor injury in last week's friendly with Nottingham Forest.
The 23-year-old missed training over the weekend but has stayed with Giovanni Trapattoni's squad as they prepare for Wednesday's World Cup qualifier at home to Cyprus and is expected to be fit if required to play.
Bruce has won only a single full cap but has been a regular member of Trappatoni's squads since the Italian took charge of the Irish side in the summer.
