Bruce Injury Not Serious - Ipswich Town News
Central defender Alex Bruce is expected to be fit for Saturday's home game with Swansea despite picking up an abductor strain while away with the Republic of Ireland. Bruce misses tonight's game with Cyprus in Dublin.
Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "I have spoken to the Ireland medical team and the injury with Alex is nothing too serious.
"He was scheduled to do some training with Ireland before being back with us on Thursday.
"We will have another look at him, but hopefully he should be able to train with the first team over the next two days and be in contention for Swansea on Saturday."
