Klug: Squad Getting Stronger - Ipswich Town News
First team coach Bryan Klug says the Town squad is starting to gel after a summer in which eight players joined the club. Klug spent the international break in Spain looking for January recruits along with specialist skills coach Steve Foley.
The former academy boss said: "We know we have not got the points we should have but I believe in the players and the squad is getting stronger all the time.
"The players are beginning to get to know each other and hopefully over the next six games we will pick up the points we should and carry that on for the rest of the season.â€Â
Klug has also confirmed that striker Jordan Rhodes could again be sent out on loan, having returned from a month at Rochdale earlier in the week.
Elsewhere, Doncaster Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday are the latest clubs to be linked with a loan move for ex-Blue Wayne Brown. The central defender is currently out of the first team at Hull City.
Another former Town centre-half, Drissa Diallo, has extended his loan with Cheltenham from the MK Dons for a further two months. Ian Westlake, at one-time a team mate of Diallo's at Town, is currently on trial at Whaddon Road.
