Harding Nets Winner as Southend Beat Leeds - Ipswich Town News
Dan Harding returned from a three-match ban to net the winning goal for loan club Southend as they beat his former side Leeds United 1-0 at Roots Hall.
The full-back, who joined Town from the Yorkshire side in the summer of 2006, curled a freekick into the top corner of the net in the 18th minute of a famous victory for the Shrimpers.
Elsewhere, Billy Clarke failed to find the net for the fourth game running as Darlington won 1-0 at Rotherham and Liam Trotter was in the Grimsby side which was trounced 4-0 at Dagenham and Redbridge.
Matt Richards was in the Brighton team which beat Leicester City 3-2 at the Withdean Stadium, while Chris Casement was again an unused sub for Hamilton as they lost 2-0 to Rangers in the Scottish League Cup.
Meanwhile, former Town keeper Lewis Price has joined the MK Dons on a one-month loan deal from Derby.
