Thatcher Close to Full Fitness - Ipswich Town News
Reserves boss Chris Kiwomya says full-back Ben Thatcher came through last night's 1-1 second string draw with Charlton without any ill effects. Thatcher has been out of action since late September due to a torn calf muscle.
Kiwomya told the club site: "We had a strong backline out against Charlton with Ben, Alex and Pim in the side and Shane in goal.
"Ben did well and came through the game fine. He is very close to full fitness now and will be all the better for the run-out.
"Iván Campo gave us a good 80 minutes as well, so we got a lot out of the game."
