Pardew Confirms Ambrose Talks - Ipswich Town News
Charlton boss Alan Pardew is reported to have confirmed that talks have taken place between the Addicks and Town regarding Darren Ambrose's return to Portman Road. As TWTD revealed on Saturday, Ambrose is set to sign on loan on Monday with a view to a permanent deal in January.
Pardew told the Kent Messenger after the Addicks' game at Plymouth that Ambrose was speaking to the Blues, talks which we understand were concluded at the end of last week with the clubs agreeing a loan fee for the ex-England U21 international.
Ambrose himself is believed to have been in Suffolk on Friday house-hunting ahead of his return to Portman Road after five years away with Newcastle and Charlton.
