FA Want Norris Explanation - Ipswich Town News
The FA have written to Town to ask for an explanation of David Norris's goal celebration against Blackpool on Saturday.
Norris has been widely condemned for his actions after his goal during the first half of Saturday's 1-0 victory.
An FA spokesman said: "We are aware of the incident and have written to Ipswich to seek an explanation from David Norris for his actions and await his response."
Norris has apologised for causing any distress with what he called a "private message" to former team-mate Luke McCormick, imprisoned for seven years for causing the death by dangerous driving of two boys when on the way back from Norris's wedding in the summer while over the drink-drive limit.
Town have already said they will take action against the player.
