Beattie Cleared of Theft Allegation - Ipswich Town News
Police have confirmed that Town legend Kevin Beattie will face no action over the allegation of theft which led to his arrest last month. The former England defender was questioned regarding the alleged disappearance of money from a house in Ipswich.
Beattie said: "I'm glad it is all over. This has been a stressful few weeks, not just for me but my wife Maggie and family.
"It was all a huge misunderstanding and I was always confident nothing further would come of it.â€Â
