Klug: We'll Look at Sky Match Preparations - Ipswich Town News
First team coach Bryan Klug says Town may look at their preparations for early evening Sky games after failing to perform at their best in their last three appearances. The Blues lost at Doncaster on Saturday and earlier in the season were defeated at Watford and drew at home to Crystal Palace.
Klug told the club site: "We never got into our stride at Doncaster or anywhere near it. We let them set the tempo and that's not been like us for a long time.
"I don't want to look at excuses but maybe we have to look at our preparation for games that kick-off at 5.20pm. That's the third game this season where we have kicked-off at that time and we have not performed well in any of them.
"The match has gone now though. We have to look forward and that means getting a result against Derby on Saturday.
"The Championship is a marathon and you are not going to be able to play well in every game. Wolves, who are clear at the top, have shown that this season. They have had hiccups along the way.
"The trick is getting back on track as quick as you can and that is what we have to aim to do this weekend. We need to get another run going."
