Beattie Home Later in the Week - Ipswich Town News
Former Blue Kevin Beattie is expected to stay in Ipswich Hospital for a few more days having been admitted on Wednesday with pancreatitis, a condition he previously suffered from some years ago.
Beattie's wife Maggie says the former England defender should be home later this week: "He is fine. Hopefully he will be out of hospital on Tuesday or Wednesday but we will not know until he is seen by the doctors on Monday. It is nothing to serious and they are just keeping him under observation.
"He is getting better by the day and there is really nothing to worry about. His pancreas has just flared up again but not to the degree it was when he first had pancreatitis.â€Â
