Murphy Wins Fourth Cap - Ipswich Town News
Academy striker Paul Murphy won his fourth Republic of Ireland U19 cap on Sunday evening as his side defeated Liechtenstein 1-0 in Malta to go through to the elite qualifying phase of the UEFA Championships. The Irish beat the hosts in the first of their three group games on Friday.
Murphy scored in that game and close to netting in last night's match, having a header cleared off the line and hitting the crossbar in the final minute.
Ireland complete their fixtures with a game against France on Wednesday.
