Trotter and Grimsby Lose Again - Ipswich Town News

On-loan midfielder Liam Trotter and Grimsby lost yet again on Saturday, this time 2-1 at Port Vale, despite former Blue Adam Proudlock netting the first goal of his loan spell with the Mariners from Darlington.

Grimsby have still won only once in the league this season and remain third from bottom of League Two.

Elsewhere, Matt Richards and Brighton drew 1-1 at Oldham, while Dan Harding's Southend lost 3-0 at Leicester.

Dean Bowditch and Brentford's game at Accrington Stanley was postponed due to the weather, as was Darlington and Billy Clarke's home game with Rochdale.

Chris Casement was once again left out of the Hamilton Academical 18 as they lost 7-1 to Rangers, while young left-back Kurt Robinson was omitted from Northampton's 16 as they drew 1-1 at home to Leyton Orient.
