Trotter's Grimsby Grab Second Win - Ipswich Town News
Liam Trotter's loan club Grimsby gained only their second league victory of the season as a goal from former Blue Adam Proudlock took the Mariners to a 1-0 win against Shrewsbury at Blundell Park. Grimsby climbed to fourth from bottom of League Two thanks to the win.
Elsewhere, Billy Clarke, without a goal since November 1st, came on as a 64th minute sub as Darlington lost 1-0 at Morecambe.
Dean Bowditch and Brentford won 2-1 at home to Bradford, while Dan Harding's Southend lost 1-0 at home to Huddersfield and Matt Richards's Brighton lost 4-2 at home to the MK Dons on Friday.
Chris Casement was as usual left out of the Hamilton Academical 18 as the bottom of the table SPL side lost 2-0 at Hibs and young full-back Kurt Robinson is still to make Northampton's 16 since joining them last month.
