Klug: Squad Need to Work Hard - Ipswich Town News

Coach Bryan Klug says the Town squad need to put in hard work on the training ground in order to get back to form. The former academy chief admitted that the Blues have been below par in recent weeks, even in victory.

Klug told the club site: "We know we are not playing well at the moment, even against Bristol City we weren't at our best.

"It happens in football though. You have periods when things don't go your way. The players are looking edgy and nervous and our passing has not been at the level we are capable of.

"The only way to get back to playing the football we can is by putting in the extra hours on the training ground and the players are working their socks off to get it right.

"Everyone is frustrated that we are not where we want to be, but there is half the season still to go and we are not that far away from the play-offs.

"It's been tantalisingly close at times, but we are fully aware that we have to play a lot better than we have done to get into the top six and stay there."
