Garvan Nominated For Award - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Owen Garvan has been nominated for the U21 Player of the Year gong at the 19th Eircom/FAI International Awards which will be held in Dublin on February 8th. The winners of the awards are chosen by a panel from the Soccer Writers' Association of Ireland.
Garvan faces competition from Sheffield United's Stephen Quinn, brother of Town's Alan, and his former Home Farm team-mate Darren O'Dea of Celtic.
O'Dea has been linked with the Blues on a number of occasions recently, although the club have denied making any approach.
