Bruce Again Linked With Norwich - Ipswich Town News
Central defender Alex Bruce is once again being linked with a January move to local rivals Norwich City. Bruce is out of contract next summer and, with no new deal on the table, Town have said they will listen to offers for the 24-year-old.
A national newspaper first mentioned Bruce in connection with the Canaries just over a month ago with Norwich boss Glenn Roeder subsequently playing down the claims.
Bruce has also been linked with Italian sides Fiorentina, Napoli and Genoa as well as Leeds, Burnley and Preston.
Elsewhere, Honduran reports claim summer trialist Emilio Izaguirre is still interesting the Blues. Left-back or midfielder Izaguirre spent several weeks on trial at Playford Road in the summer and did well enough for Town to consider offering him a deal.
However, the 22-year-old Honduran international ultimately returned to his club Motagua and has spent much of the first half of the season injured. Italian side Cagliari are also claimed to be interested.
