Wright a Doubt for Birmingham Clash - Ipswich Town News
Full-back David Wright is a doubt ahead of the Boxing Day game at home to Birmingham. The former Wigan and Crewe man has a minor hamstring problem with a scan showing no tear.
Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "The injury actually goes back to the Bristol City game and David felt it again towards the end of the Coventry match.
"He's had a scan but there is no tear, although there is a little inflammation. It's a slight muscle strain.
"We will obviously monitor the situation and David will continue to receive treatment. We will hope to have him back in training on Thursday and will make a call from there."
