Blue Square North side Droylsden will face the Blues in the third round of the FA Cup after finally defeating Chesterfield in their marathon second round tie.
The Bloods won Tuesday's rescheduled replay 2-1 with defender Sean Newton netting both goals, one from the spot.
Former Grimsby and Forest man Jack Lester scored for the Spireites and was later sent off for violent conduct.
Droylsden will be at Portman Road on January 3rd for the third round tie.
