Gorman Announcement In Next Few Days - Ipswich Town News
John Gorman will be unveiled as Jim Magilton's new assistant manager in the next couple of days, according to various reports this morning, although the Blues are yet to officially comment. A number of national newspapers reported Gorman's impending return to Town over the weekend.
Gorman was previously a coach at Portman Road during George Burley's time as manager and while Magilton was a player. It's understood that Magilton will be bringing Gorman in as an additional coach rather than as a replacement for any of the current staff.
Former England coach Gorman has recently been working at the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain, which aims to give youngsters released by clubs â€" including former Town U18s skipper Curtley Williams â€" a second chance to make it in the game.
