Section 6 Trial Against Sheffield Wednesday - Ipswich Town News

Daniel Gooch tells TWTD that Section 6, the group aiming to improve the Portman Road atmosphere, will be kicking off their efforts when Sheffield Wednesday are in town a week on Saturday.

I am delighted to confirm ticketing details for our first game against Sheffield Wednesday on 10th January. In case you missed our first article, Section 6 is a new vocal fans' group aimed at providing consistency and impetus in our support by establishing an area where fans who want to sing all game, every game can group together and support each other while motivating others around to join in.

If you'd like to join us, here's what you need to do,

1. Buy your tickets in the normal way

2. Ask that they be situated as close as possible to Row R, seats 163-166 - I don't think the block has been officially reserved, but if so, just give them my name.

If you have a season ticket, or have already got a match ticket, and want to get involved, there should be no problem transferring your seats for the game - just speak to the Ticket Office.

If you'd like to get acquainted before the game, we'll be meeting at the Hare and Hounds on Norwich Road, probably from around midday.

If you want to suggest songs, or just discuss this further, check out our forum.

I hope loads of you will join us - let's really try and make this work!

PS Bring a scarf!
