Wright Receives Good News on Injury - Ipswich Town News
Town full-back David Wright should be back in action in around two weeks after a scan showed no tear to his hamstring. Wright limped off during the second half of Saturday's 3-0 FA Cup victory over Chesterfield with a recurrence of the injury which saw him miss the Birmingham and Derby matches.
Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "David had a scan on Monday and there is no evidence of a muscle tear. He does have some inflammation there though, and we will be cautious with him this week.
"Hopefully, it will settle down over the next few days and then we will take it from there, but it will be one step at a time with his recovery.
"Hamstring injuries always provide a degree of caution and I would not want to put a definite date for David's return, but looking at it at the moment it could be a couple of weeks."
