Wednesday Sign Gray - Ipswich Town News
Sheffield Wednesday have announced the signing of Michael Gray on loan from Wolves. The veteran left-sided player goes straight into the squad for Saturday's game at Portman Road, paperwork permitting.
Owls boss Brian Laws said: "I am delighted that Michael Gray has agreed to join us on loan. He is a player who brings a wealth of experience, plenty of quality and is a committed character.
"Michael also brings a degree of adaptability, is equally comfortable on the left of midfield or at left-back, but has played more recently as a midfielder and that is where I intend to use him.
"He is also a player with a winning mentality and is a strong character coming into our dressing room."
Meanwhile, we understand that Owen Garvan may not be ready to start tomorrow after his recent illnesses and a place on the bench is more likely.
Therefore, David Norris will probably replace the suspended Veliche Shumulikoski in the centre of midfield with Jon Walters on the right and Kevin Lisbie in line for a return up front.
