Lita Linked With Shefffield United Move - Ipswich Town News
Sheffield United have agreed a £1 million deal with Reading for striker Leroy Lita, according to one of this morning's tabloids. The 24-year-old former Canary loanee is understood to be on Jim Magilton's list of potential January targets.
Blades boss Kevin Blackwell is reported to be holding talks with the former Bristol City man later this week. The former England U21 international is seen as a replacement for James Beattie, who has been linked with Stoke, Newcastle, Blackburn and Hull.
Elsewhere, Fulham have been linked with a move for reported Town target Lee McCulloch. The striker or midfielder is out of favour at Rangers and looks set to move on during January.
Meanwhile, former Blue Wayne Brown, who was spotted at Portman Road on Saturday along with former team-mate John McGreal, is close to joining Charlton Athletic on loan for the rest of the season from Hull.
