Richard Naylor's debut for loan club Leeds United ended in a 2-0 away victory at Brighton for the central defender's hometown club. Naylor joined the League One side for a month earlier in the week.
Meanwhile, Chris Casement made his debut for his latest loan club Wycombe as they lost 1-0 at home to Grimsby Town.
Town's other current loanee, Kurt Robinson made his second appearance for Rushden and Diamonds, his first in the league, as the Blues Square Premier side lost 1-0 at Ebbsfleet.
