London Branch AGM Thursday - Ipswich Town News
The London Branch of the Supporters Club is holding their AGM on Thursday 22nd January at the City Tavern on Lawrence Lane (just off Cheapside, near Bank tube). They told TWTD what those attending can expect from the evening.
The AGM format is as in recent years â€" the room is booked from 6pm til 11pm and the official business will be at around 7-7.30pm. This will be brief.
Most of the evening, before and after, is about our guests - Simon "I scored more goals for Town than Darren Bent" Milton (as compere), with Chris Kiwomya and the Legend That Is And Always Will Be John Wark.
They'll be happy to take questions on past, present, future of ITFC and football in general, and we might get Warky to share some thoughts on the best-ever football war film, Escape to Victory.
The evening will feature raffle and auction for Academy funds, as well as a number of infamous 'spot prizes' for questions on all kinds of Town-related stuff.
Many people have already emailed to confirm attendance, but the larger-than-usual venue leaves us still with some spaces, so ignore the credit crunch and let's see you Thursday. Pub detail is here.
