Trialist Set to Face Cobblers - Ipswich Town News
Town have confirmed that trialist Lino Goncalves is likely to be involved in this afternoon's reserve game against Northampton at Playford Road (KO 2pm).
The former Fulham winger is spending two weeks with the Blues, having been recommended by assistant manager John Gorman, who worked with the Madeira-born winger during his spell at the Glenn Hoddle Academy.
With the U18s in FA Youth Cup fourth round action at Portman Road against Crystal Palace this evening (KO 7pm), the Blues are forced to include academy coach Gerard Nash and ProZone analyst Jon Bickers in the squad, alongside the likes of Matt Richards, Liam Trotter, Dean Bowditch, Jordan Rhodes and Shane Supple.
