No Brentford Return for Bowditch - Ipswich Town News
Brentford boss Andy Scott has ruled out Town's Dean Bowditch rejoining the Bees. Bowditch spent three months on loan at Griffin Park before recently returning to the Blues.
Scott said: "I spoke to Dean on Tuesday, as well as Jim Magilton and Steve McCall at Ipswich.
"But Dean was in their squad on Saturday, and the message I got was he's very much in their thoughts.
"That's the trouble with loan players. If they're a success, their club will want them back.â€Â
Yesterday, Brentford were linked with a loan move for fellow Town frontman Jordan Rhodes.
Meanwhile, ex-Blue Stuart Slater, now 39, has joined Eastern Counties Football League Premier Division side Wivenhoe Town, now managed by his former West Ham team-mate Julian Dicks.
