Civelli Set for Medical - Ipswich Town News
Town target Luciano Civelli will undergo a medical as soon as he arrives in the UK, according to reports in Argentina. The 22-year-old's move to Town is being described as "almost a fact†by the Argentinian papers.
Civelli left a Banfield training camp late yesterday to travel to Buenos Aires to take a flight to London with the clubs having apparently agreed the terms of the deal. The latest report puts the fee, which has fluctuated from news story to news story, at US$1.5 million (almost £1.1 million) for 50% of the player's rights.
There has still been no confirmation of this aspect of the deal or whether it is Banfield or an outside interest which would own the other half of the player.
