Match of My Life Competition Winners - Ipswich Town News

TWTD readers John Pearson and Steven Fisk were the winners of our competition to win two copies of Mel Henderson's latest book Match of My Life. If you're neither John nor Steven, you can buy your copy via TWTD.

Their names were drawn at random from those who correctly told us that Trevor Whymark scored four goals in the home leg of the UEFA Cup second round tie against Lazio in October 1973.

Each chapter of the book features a player talking about his most memorable game for the Blues: Mick Mills, Ray Crawford, Larry Carberry, John Elsworthy, Ted Phillips, Kevin Beattie, John Wark, Allan Hunter, Bryan Hamilton, Trevor Whymark, Alan Brazil, Roger Osborne, Tony Mowbray, Jim Magilton, Jason Dozzell and Jon Walters.

You can buy your copy via TWTD for the bargain price of £11.89 here.

Read a review of the book by TWTD columnist Tim Sansom here.
