No Goals for Rhodes This Time - Ipswich Town News
Striker Jordan Rhodes was the only one of Town's loan players in action on Tuesday night. However, the man who celebrates his 19th birthday tomorrow failed to replicate Saturday's hat-trick as his Brentford side lost 2-0 at Morecambe.
Rhodes had another decent game in his fourth appearance for the Bees, but his goal tally remains on four. Over the weekend, boss Jim Magilton said he was considering whether to bring Rhodes or Billy Clarke back to Town with the Blues currently short on goals at home.
Elsewhere, all the other matches involving on-loan Town players were postponed due to the weather.
Clarke and Northampton were meant to be in action at home to Swindon, Jaime Peters and Gillingham at Notts County and Chris Casement's Wycombe were scheduled to play Barnet at home.
Kurt Robinson's Rushden and Diamonds face Blue Square Premier leaders Burton Albion away in a live Setanta game on Thursday evening.
