Jim: Give Civelli Time - Ipswich Town News

Boss Jim Magilton says fans shouldn't expect too much of new signing Luciano Civelli until later on in the season. The man nicknamed Lucho was in pre-season training in Argentina prior to joining the Blues a week ago and hasn't played for nearly two months.

Magilton says that the midfielder will need time to get into peak condition: "We won't see Luciano at full pelt until later in the season. He has not played for six weeks and needs to return to match fitness.”

The £1.1 million signing from Banfield is unlikely to be in the travelling party which makes its way to Swansea on Saturday for the club's first ever game at the Liberty Stadium.

Fans should note that seats need to be purchased in advance from Town with no tickets available on the Liberty Stadium turnstiles.
