Trotter Joins Scunthorpe on Trial - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Liam Trotter has joined Scunthorpe United on trial. The 20-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and spent part of the first half of the season on loan at Grimsby.
Trotter will spend a couple of days training with the League One side this week. Scunthorpe say they will be looking at a number of players between now and the end of the season who they may consider recruiting either permanently or on loan.
Last week Ed Upson joined Southend on trial, while Jai Reason is with Cambridge United on a similar basis.
Meanwhile, former Blue Geraint Williams has been appointed manager of League One Leyton Orient, having left Colchester earlier in the season.
