Burnley Game Could Be Postponed - Ipswich Town News
Town's home league game with Burnley on Saturday 7th March will be postponed if Arsenal win their FA Cup fourth round tie with Cardiff tonight. The Gunners would play the Clarets in their fifth round tie that weekend instead.
The Town-Burnley game would still take place as scheduled if Cardiff win this evening's match as the fifth round tie between the Bluebirds and Clarets would be played on Wednesday, 25th February. Arsenal would be unable to play on that date due to Champions League commitments.
The Arsenal-Cardiff replay was postponed due to the snow earlier in the month, creating the fixture backlog. The weekend of March 7th is actually the designated date for sixth round ties.
