Trotter Set to Join Scunthorpe - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Liam Trotter will join Scunthorpe on a month's loan next week. TWTD revealed last week that the 20-year-old would join the Iron on loan having impressed during a trial.
The move was delayed by fellow Town midfielders Alan Quinn and David Norris picking up suspensions ahead of last week's game against Blackpool.
Trotter, who was on loan at Grimsby earlier in the season, told the club site that he had a good time during his trial at Glanford Park: "I enjoyed the few days I spent with them.
"They are going well in League One, play good football and it's a chance for me to play first team football - which is what I need."
The Ipswich-born midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season.
