Campo Close to Return - Ipswich Town News
Spanish veteran Iván Campo is back in full training after the torn calf muscle which has kept him out of action since the 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday. The former Real Madrid and Bolton man could be in reserves action next week.
Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Iván trained with the first team on Tuesday and there has been no reaction.
"He has worked very hard to get back to fitness and it's a case now of building that up and perhaps getting a reserve team game under his belt."
Town's reserves take on Luton at Playford Road next Wednesday afternoon (KO 2pm).
