Burley Denies Brynjar Interest - Ipswich Town News
Town manager George Burley has denied that he is after Stoke's Icelandic defender Brynjar Gunnarsson. The rumour suggesting Town interest in Hermann's international team-mate had been around for several weeks, but appears to be merely that, a rumour.
The Town boss is reported to have said: "There is no interest in him whatsover. That transfer rumour is as cold as ice."
This won't be the last transfer story with no basis in fact which we hear this summer.
