Cambridge Keen to Extend Reason's Loan - Ipswich Town News
Cambridge United boss Gary Brabin is keen to extend Town midfielder Jai Reason's loan at the Abbey Stadium beyond its initial month. Reason's spell is up after Saturday's home game against Blue Square Premier leaders Burton Albion.
Brabin, who has been named Blue Square Premier Manager of the Month for February, is hopeful an extension can be agreed: "Jai has given us something a little bit different. He's a young lad and a good footballer, who plays with high energy and a decent attitude.
"I know he's enjoyed his time here and he's desperate to stay, so hopefully we can get things tied up."
The 19-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has hugely impressed U's fans in his five games so far.
