Wickham on England U17s Standby - Ipswich Town News
Academy striker Connor Wickham is on standby for the England U17s ahead of their European Championships elite qualifying group games against Portugal, Serbia and hosts Hungary later this month.
Wickham, 15, previously won four U17 caps at the Nordic Tournament in Denmark last summer in which England annually field an U16 squad, despite the competition being for the older age group.
The Colchester-based striker is a regular in the England U16 squad, for whom he has scored one goal in two appearances.
