Town will be without suspended skipper Gareth McAuley and full-back Moritz Volz for Tuesday's trip to Championship leaders Wolves (KO 7.45pm), but Ben Thatcher, Danny Haynes, Iván Campo and Jaime Peters are all included in the travelling party.
McAuley is out for one game having picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in the 3-2 defeat at Preston. Volz suffered a recurrence of his groin injury in the same game.
Thatcher is back after recovering from a foot injury, while Campo came through last week's reserve game against Luton without aggravating the calf muscle he tore in January. Haynes returns after injuring a hamstring in the recent victory over Nottingham Forest.
Peters hasn't played for the Town first team since the FA Cup tie against Portsmouth in January 2008, but assistant boss John Gorman says the Canadian international has impressed at Playford Road since returning from a month on loan at Gillingham: "Jaime has trained well and is in the squad for the game.
"He has returned from Gillingham with the incentive to really push on and get involved in the first team here."
Peters, who is contracted to Town until June 2010, has played at right-back for much of this season and looks likely to have come in as cover for that role with Volz out and Alex Bruce likely to be playing at the centre of the defence.
Boss Jim Magilton has to choose between youngster Pim Balkestein and veteran Iván Campo alongside Bruce with the Dutchman perhaps getting the nod for his additional height and match fitness. Campo is likely to be amongst the subs.
Thatcher's return will see David Wright go back to right-back with Richard Wright continuing in goal.
Town are likely to make one or two further changes after the dreadful home display against Southampton last week. There are plenty of options with Owen Garvan and Veliche Shumulikoski keen for a return at the centre of midfield in place of Alan Quinn and Tommy Miller, while David Norris may also be hoping for a switch inside after starting most recent games in wide roles.
The former Plymouth man may again find himself wide on the left with Luciano Civelli still finding his feet in English football. Jon Walters could well come back into the starting line-up on the right.
Up front, Kevin Lisbie will be hoping for a start after a lively display as sub at Preston. The former Colchester and Charlton man could replace Pablo Couñago, having formed a promising link-up with Jon Stead in some of Town's best away performances, most notably at Barnsley.
With Haynes back from injury, Dean Bowditch has dropped out of the squad and will play for the reserves in their LB Group Suffolk Premier Cup semi-final at Needham Market, also on Tuesday (KO 7.45pm).
Wolves, still top of the league despite a poor run in January and February, are 20 points ahead of the Blues in 10th, having played a game more. March has seen Mick McCarthy's men get back into winning ways with 1-0 away victories at Crystal Palace and Sheffield Wednesday.
McCarthy is waiting on the fitness of former Grays winger Michael Kightly, who has a hamstring injury: "If Kightly doesn't make it, Matt Jarvis will hopefully be back and Kyel Reid is OK, so we've got cover.
"It would be disappointing for Kights, but let's hope it's not too serious. Kights is a really good player and he's got that spark and twinkle in his eye that makes things happen.â€Â
Wolves will definitely be without captain Karl Henry who misses his second match for amassing 10 yellow cards.
The home side have keeper Matt Murray out with a long-term knee injury, fellow glovesman Carl Ikeme sidelined with a back problem, full-back George Elokobi still recovering from the knee injury he suffered at Town early in the season, Nigel Quashie recovering from chest infection and Matt Bailey out with an ankle ligament injury.
The Blues will be looking for their eighth away win of the season, but at a ground where they have rarely done well in recent years. Town's last win at Molineux came in the 1991/92 promotion season with goals from David Linighan and Jason Dozzell giving the Blues a 2-1 victory.
Despite their poor record at Molineux, Town have narrowly had the better of Wolves over the years, winning 27 times (26 in the league), drawing on 19 occasions (16) and falling to 26 defeats (23).
Last season, the teams drew 1-1 at Molineux in the penultimate fixture of 2007/08, Tommy Miller netting a final minute freekick for Town, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake having opened the scoring for the home side.
Earlier this season, Wolves came away from Portman Road with a 2-0 win with Ebanks-Blake and David Edwards scoring the goals and Alex Bruce seeing red for a two-footed lunge.
No member of the current Town squad has been a Wolves player or vice versa, although Ben Thatcher was at Molineux on trial over the summer before deciding to join the Blues.
Tuesday's referee is Graham Salisbury from Preston, who has shown 66 yellow cards and four red in 28 games so far this season. Salisbury's last Town game was the 5-2 away win at Hull City in March 2007.
Salisbury's most notable previous match involving the Blues was the October 2002 3-0 defeat at Grimsby which led to George Burley's sacking.
