Volz Set for Surgery - Ipswich Town News
On-loan full-back Moritz Volz will undergo surgery on his groin injury next Tuesday and is expected to be sidelined for up to a month. Volz suffered a recurrence of the problem during the recent 3-2 defeat at Preston.
Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Moritz will have the operation and will be out for around three to four weeks after that. We are hoping to have him back sometime around the Easter games."
Volz has made 21 starts and one sub appearance since joining the Blues from Fulham on loan for the season in August.
