Shumi Angry That Preston Move Blocked - Ipswich Town News

Midfielder Veliche Shumulikoski says he is angry with Town for blocking a proposed loan move to Preston, according to reports in the Macedonian media. Shumulikoski is quoted as saying that manager Jim Magilton prevented him joining the Lilywhites ahead of today's game against Coventry.

According to Makedonski Sport, the 27-year-old said: "Yesterday they were supposed to accept the offer from Preston North End and I should have had my debut for them today. But it wasn't allowed by the manager Magilton.

"I was angry and I couldn't stand it any more. I want to play in a team that has ambitions for promotion to the Premier League. My wish was Preston but Ipswich forces me to go to Watford or QPR."

Earlier in the week, Town denied reports that QPR had made a loan offer for Shumulikoski, who has rarely been involved in the first team in the last couple of months.

In December and again in January, the former Bursaspor man was linked with a permanent move to Fulham.
