Royle Back With Oldham - Ipswich Town News
Ex-Town boss Joe Royle has made a surprise return to management with former club Oldham Athletic.
Royle, who left Town in 2006, has taken over at Boundary Park after boss John Sheridan parted company with the League One club earlier today.
The ex-Everton and England striker started his management career with the Latics in 1982 and saw them to their most successful era before returning to Goodison Park as boss in 1997.
