No Surgery for Walters But Volz Under Knife - Ipswich Town News
Town have received some good news regarding Jon Walters's ruptured ankle ligament injury. Although the former Chester man is out for the season, the problem will not require surgery.
Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "We have taken advice on the injury and been told that no surgery is needed at the moment.
"We will see how Jon progresses over the next couple of weeks and he will then be reassessed, but at this stage we will not be going down the operation route for recovery."
Full-back Moritz Volz underwent groin surgery yesterday and should be available for the Easter fixtures.
