Naylor Overwhelmed by TWTD Tributes - Ipswich Town News
Former Blue Richard Naylor was "overwhelmed†by messages of thank you and support from TWTD readers when he was handed them by the Leeds United press office last week. After Naylor's permanent move to Elland Road at the end of January, scores of TWTD readers paid tribute to the long-serving defender.
Leeds head of media and publications Paul Dews told us: "I've just embarrassed Richard by giving him the first few sheets in front of his team-mates and you can rest assured that I will pass the full thread on to Richard.
â€ÂHe asked me to pass on his thanks to all Ipswich supporters for the kind messages and reiterated that he had a great time at Portman Road. He also says he hopes that he can go back there again next season when/if we win promotion!
â€ÂPlease pass his thanks on to everyone who has sent messages. He was quite overwhelmed by the kindness and the support.â€Â
