Manchester United in Town - Ipswich Town News

Town have announced another academy showcase game with Manchester United at Portman Road. The sides will contest an U15 game on Friday, 24th April (KO 7pm).

The game will be sponsored by former Blue Titus Bramble, Kieron Dyer having sponsored an U18 game with Arsenal earlier in the season.

Academy sponsorship manager Simon Milton paid tribute to Bramble: "Once again this is a fantastic gesture by one of our former players.

"Titus was delighted to follow Kieron's lead and support the academy in this way."

Tickets will cost £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 for under-16s.

Last year Town and United drew 3-3 in an U16 game, the visitors winning a penalty shoot-out. In 2007, an U14 match ended with United running out 4-3 winners. A year earlier, Jordan Rhodes netted a hat-trick as Town's U16s beat the Red Devils 6-2.
