Garvan's Irish U21s Win - Ipswich Town News
Town midfielder Owen Garvan was involved in both goals as the Republic of Ireland U21s beat Spain 2-1 in Waterford on Friday evening. Garvan was winning his ninth U21 cap.
The Dubliner sent in the freekick which led to Jay O'Shea's first half opening goal and dummied a cross from the left to allow Alan Judge to net Ireland's second after the break.
The friendly was organised as preparation for next Tuesday's European U21 Championship 2011 qualifier with Turkey in Cork.
