U18s Defeat Reading - Ipswich Town News
Town's U18s won their second league game of 2009 over Saturday lunchtime when Reading left Playford Road on the end of a 2-1 defeat. Connor Wickham netted both goals for the Blues.
The youngsters were well worthy of their win with Wickham, who scored in the fifth and 35th minutes, Jack Ainsley and Reggie Lambe the most impressive performers.
U18s: McLoughlin, Clemo, Ainsley, Eastman, Dunbar, Lambe, Hyam, Cawley, Griffiths (Clark 82), Wickham, Murray. Unused: Daniels, Ward, Brandon and Bennett.
