McAuley a Doubt for Sheffield United Trip - Ipswich Town News
Skipper Gareth McAuley looks to be a doubt for Town's trip to Sheffield United on Saturday after being forced off with a hamstring injury early in Northern Ireland's 1-0 victory over Slovenia at Windsor Park on Wednesday evening.
McAuley limped off after 16 minutes as the Northern Irish kept their place at the top of their World Cup qualifying group.
Elsewhere, Veliche Shumulikoski played the full 90 minutes as Macedonia lost 4-0 in Holland, while Alex Bruce was left out of the Republic of Ireland 18 as they drew 1-1 with Italy in Bari.
