Stead Back for Norwich - Ipswich Town News
Striker Jon Stead is set to return to the Town squad ahead of Sunday's East Anglian derby against Norwich City. The frontman has missed the last two games with a back injury sustained in training.
Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Jon had a sore back but he's on the mend now and has done some light training work.
"He will increase his workload through the week and, providing there is no reaction, should be OK for the Norwich match."
Shane Supple has returned to Playford Road for treatment after sustaining a knee injury with Oldham. The Irish U21 international is with the Latics for the rest of the season.
